Hebrew School

Curriculum

The guiding principle of Temple Judea Religious School education is experiential learning.  You and your children will become a part of a Jewish community that celebrates, learns and grows together.  In the classroom, children will learn how to read Hebrew.  They also will learn Bible stories, experience and appreciate holiday celebrations, learn and practice the prayers that make up Shabbat services and develop an appreciation for Israel.  They will participate in and understand the significance of Tikkun Olam and tzedakah.  They will gain an understanding of what it means to be Jewish and to be a responsible member of the Jewish community.
